Thank You For 35 Years

After 35 years of serving the greater Baton Rouge community, I have decided to retire. As a result, Dutch Physical Therapy will close permanently after November 20, 2026. It has been an absolute honor and a privilege to assist you with your physical rehabilitation goals over the years. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me and my team.

What this means for your ongoing care: Your health and continued recovery remain our top priorities. If you require ongoing physical therapy after November 20th 2026, I recommend transitioning your care to another provider as soon as possible. Please check with your primary care physician, specialist and/or McKenzie USA website for further options.

How to access your medical records:

Your physical therapy medical records are confidential and legally protected. You can transfer them to another provider or request a copy for yourself by taking the following steps:

  • Before November 20th: You can sign a medical records release form at our office.
  • After November 20th, 2026: Your records will be securely stored in accordance with Louisiana state retention laws.

To request your records after we close, please contact Billing Department at billing@dutchpt.com. Please note that a standard medical record copying and handling fee may apply.

If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled before or on November 20, 2026, it will proceed as planned. If you need to schedule a final visit or have any questions about this transition, please call our office at 225-927-3000 before our closing date.

Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your health journey. I wish you the very best of health and happiness in the future.

Sincerely,

Mirjam Maassen, Owner
